I have pretty low expectations when it comes to customer service at laundromat, I don't expect to be pampered or fawned over, but I do expect common decency. The guy at the laundromat was a complete jerk. Apparently it was closing time and he wanted me out...I say apparently because there were no signs indicating closing time on the entrance or no polite warning that the place would be closing. Thankfully, I was just finishing up anyway...because if he'd try to throw me out with wet laundry, my husband would've been coming up with bail money.



I don't understand why it was necessary to be rude, because if he'd had the sense God gave a lemon he would've seen that I had already cleared the laundry from the folding table and was putting it all in my laundry baskets to haul it out. I feel that he was rude and cocky because I was the only one there. I feel sure that the situation would have been different had someone else been there or had I not been a woman. I don't truck with people who try to bully because they PERCEIVE they have a physical advantage over someone.



My husband will be working in the area for the next two months - minimally we spend 20 bucks a week on doing laundry, that's 160 the business will miss out on from us, not to mention all the money my husband would've spent on beer, Mounds and Red Bull from the market waiting on the laundry.



The floor was dirty, and though they have new machines, because they don't clean them with any regularity, they will quickly be the same as the smelly old ones.



You've got to have clean clothes...but you don't have to take them here!
