I called Action Plumbing to fix a routine garbage disposal issue. They came to my house two days after they said they would, fixed the problem, then left. They then came back shortly after and let themselves in my house (no knock, just barged in) and demanded payment for the $85.00 bill with no invoice, receipt, or any sort of paperwork. After saying I would pay when I received a bill, or at least some sort of invoice, the guy got hostile, saying that he was going to get paid one way or another. He eventually left, after which I received a call where the office manager attempted a similar shakedown (although after explaining the situation she changed her tune).

In summary: showing up two days after you are supposed to (with no advance call) and expecting to receive payment without a bill or an invoice is a horrible way to do business. Seek plumbing services elsewhere.
