Parker & Parker has a long history in the Peoria area, dating back 33 years to its inception as Parker & Halliday. In 2012, partners Drew and Rob Parker established the new law firm of Parker & Parker. Since 1980, the firm has handled a wide range of cases, including high-profile murder defenses, fatal car accidents, lawsuits against railroads, and multi-million dollar divorces. With Rob Parker?s arrival in 2009, the practice expanded into new areas of litigation. Serious nursing home neglect cases are now a focal point. Theresa Rahe Hardesty became of counsel to the firm in 2012; having handled more than 3500 adoptions, her experience in the adoption field far surpasses that of any other Central Illinois attorney. Her credentials and adoption resources have broadened the firm?s practice into all areas of adoption law. Brian Seckler arrived in 2013, bringing a fresh perspective to the firm as he works in the areas of divorce and domestic violence.
