dealt with an attorney from the office today and he was very rude. pretty much mocked me for being broke. he did not even want to attempt to work with me and wouldn't listen to what i was trying to say.

I hired Dorian for an uncontested divorce and his office took 9-10 months to finally complete - the case was really a "no-brainer", divorce by publication. Afterwards, he also tried to more than double bill me for what was agreed to be his fee of $600 (which is already nearly double from his first quote). I paid his fee of $600 and all filing, service & publication costs up front already in cash and with receipts or else Nothing would proceed on the case, per his general policy. After the case wrapped up, his office sent an invoice to bill for another $853, which included double billing for hours and not accounting for $300 in service & publication fee payments already made (for which I have receipts!). I cannot pay twice just b/c Dorian doesn't have his staff together or paralegals change and someone else has to repeat some work. That's why I asked for an all-in amount which Dorian agreed to, but is now trying to bill twice the fee. I should have looked much harder for another legal service which could have accomplished my case cheaper and also faster. Even if I don't mind whatever time it took or knew Dorian was feeding me lines with whatever he told me, it is bad when you have to worry about your lawyer coming after you for money you don't rightly owe and add court costs onto a false and unjust bill and then perhaps try to garnish your wages just because he thinks you have a job thus amounting to abuse of his own clients.

Dorian LaSaine is a liar and a cheat. I strongly suggest you find an lawyer that is ethical because he is not!!!

DISHONEST attorney overcharged us for a hospital bill we incurred and subsequently garnished our wages, then had the court send us a bill for the full (fraudulent) amount we already paid!!!!This business can improve themselves by trying a shot at any kind of decency in their practice! Compassion my foot.! Unless by this they mean to take you for a ride!!
