Dr. Sellers is a native of Northwest Florida, growing up in Pensacola and Gulf Breeze. He was a member of the 9th grade class at Gulf Breeze High School the year it opened.After finishing medical training, he practiced in Tampa, Florida for six years. His practice provided orthopaedic coverage for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers while Dr. Sellers provided individual coverage for the Cincinnati Reds, University of Tampa, Florida Southern College, and Leto High School.Dr. Sellers moved back to the Pensacola in 1994 and has been in private practice since then. He has provided medical coverage for the University of West Florida and Pensacola Barracudas Football. He began providing medical coverage for Pensacola High School in 1995 and continues football sideline coverage for both home and away games. He teaches in the Athletic Training Department at the University of West Florida as well as teaching other surgeons in Surgical Skills Courses.
