My family has ordered cakes from The Cake Shop for as long as I can remember. We always ordered our cakes with the strawberry filling. I just had my daughters 1st Birthday and ordered from The Cake Shop as well. The cake was just what we wanted - it tasted great and the free smash cake was perfect. I don't post many reviews but after the last one I wanted to post my experience.

WORST PLACE EVER TO ORDER A CAKE! WASTE OF MONEY, THREW THE CAKE AWAY! They tell you they can make a certain cake for your special day and you pay up front. Come to find out on the day before your big day, that the cake is not what was asked. WRONG color, WRONG flavor, WRONG shape, wrong wrong wrong wrong. YET, you still have to pay for it and "its your fault for having too high of expectations." No I'm sorry, YOU TOLD ME YOU CAN DO IT, IT WAS YOUR IDEA! On top of the looks of what seemed to be an "ON SALE WALMART CAKE" the cake from The Cake Shop was also STALE & BURNT! So even if it was ugly, it also tasted awful. They refused to make it right and said it was our fault. NEVER EVER SPEND A DIME HERE!!!!!!!!

I was new to town and as a chef, I am very picky about my cakes or sweets in general, so I went in to have a cake designed for my wifes 40th brithday, and I could not have been happier. I know they had their hands full with me, but the cake was not only beautiful, but one of the best tasting cakes I have had.
