always willing to help clients obtain help with fuel and utilities. Never lets clients feels they are a burden, looking for a handout, etc... able to ask for help and maintain dignity.

North Shore Community Action Programs, Inc. (NSCAP) provides social services that enable low-income families and individuals to obtain the skills and knowledge they need to become economically self-sufficient, civically engaged, and to live in dignity and decency. NSCAP is a private, nonprofit organization. To achieve our mission, we provide a range of programs and services in five key areas: Education and Training, Economic Stabilization, Housing and Homelessness Prevention, Energy Services, and Home Care. Our core service area is Peabody, Beverly, Salem and Danvers, plus 22 other North Shore communities. NSCAP is part of the community; we understand that when we assist our neighbors in need we are strengthen our neighborhoods, towns and cities, which is good for us all. Our staff is skilled and dedicated. Whether participating in a financial literacy program, applying for fuel assistance, or receiving temporary shelter, program participants work with caring and thorough professionals who are committed to helping low-income people find the stability they need to rise out of poverty.
