- Charitable GivingYakima Federal includes charitable giving in our budget each year. We make financial contributions, big and small, to a variety of worthy organizations throughout our market area. We provide scholarships every year to area graduating seniors through our Awards for Academic Excellence program. In addition, our employees volunteer their time and talent with community organizations and at Yakima Federal sponsored events.

- Income TaxYou might be able to save on your present taxes with an Individual Retirement Account, by deducting your qualified contributions from your taxable income. Many Americans can deduct all or part of their IRA contributions from current income taxes. The deductible amount depends on your income, marital status and whether you’re an active participant in an employer sponsored plan as defined by the Internal Revenue Service.
- Money Market FundsDeposit levels may also benefit from the lowering of interest rates, making it easier for us to compete with treasury bills, money market funds and brokered CDs.
- Long Term CareFISH Community Food Bank of the Kittitas Valley will be able to begin renovating the recently purchased Rodeo City BBQ building in Ellensburg thanks to a donation of $100,000 from Yakima Federal Savings and Loan.
