I put an item on layaway & then found out they charged me more for it then what it sold for over 8 yrs ago & he told me " all sales are final " and I would lose my layaway deposit if changed my mind !!!! This is too small of a town to burn customers !!! BUYER BEWARE !

It is sad I can t give anything less than 1 star on here, B&D pawn for one is very very overpriced, 29.95 for the same box of ammo I can get at Wal-Mart for 5 bucks. I had a firearm sent there, it showed up on Friday, they said I couldn t get it because it wasn t in the books . I went Saturday, it still wasn t in the books now it is Monday, It still isn t in the books I was told Friday and Saturday that I was guaranteed that I could pick up my firearm Monday at 3:00pm, I showed up at 2.55pm and they told me to show up tomorrow. That s over 80 miles in total I will have driven by tomorrow, yet they still expect me to pay the 40 dollar transfer fee. Gas isn t free, and I will not, nor would I ever recommend anyone to ever shop there much less buy a firearm and have it transferred through them. Everything is at least 100% markup on msrp and they claim they have more in the firearm than the sale price which anyone with access to a computer knows its a bunch of hogwash. It is illegal to possess a firearm as an FFL without it being in the books. If something were to happen to the store, there is no proof that my firearm is in their possession and they have my receipt so how would I be able to replace my firearm? I am completely disgusted with their business morals and after my transfer, I will never step foot in there again. They had some rifles I would have liked to pick up, but id pay someone 3 times the cost of their firearms just so they don t get my money.
