Dr. Parnes discovered her passion for dentistry during her junior year at Cornell, while interning at New York-Presbyterian Hospital. She landed in the dental department, and realized that dentistry, specifically orthodontics, would allow her to solve problems with her hands, as well as get to know patients and make a positive impact on their lives. Dr. Parnes graduated first in her class from UPenn Dental and continued her orthodontic training at Temple, where she focused her master’s thesis on Office Design. She worked in private practice in New Jersey for several years, and started seeing patients on the Main Line in 2015. In addition to maintaining Dr. Hill’s excellent results and quality of care, Dr. Parnes is committed to enhancing the practice through continuing education, efficient systems, and the latest technology. As a mom and former braces-wearer herself, Dr. Parnes takes time to connect with her patients of all ages. She likes to tackle do-it-yourself projects and crafts, so you will find a quick DIY activity or coloring books in the reception area for entertainment. She and her husband go way back — all the way to kindergarten in the New York suburbs — and they are happily making themselves at home and raising their son Jacoby on the Main Line.
