I have had particular issues that have arisen due to incomplete filings by my prior accountant. Lorna and her team have taken on these issues and resolved them personally on my behalf with the IRS.
Take your mind off of your accounting worries, and put your time back into the development and passion of your own business.
A client of mine (a film and commercial producer) finally agreed with me that his then bookkeeper was not working out well for him, and that he would move over to Digits.
Lorna immediately tackled moving the company’s accounting system, reorganizing the chart of accounts and ensuring that the data was properly posted in the right accounts. She worked very closely with me asking for direction and/or confirming her plans with me every step of the way.
It was a very enjoyable process because I was able to determine quickly that she was (and is) a highly professional, detail-oriented accountant. This was critical because the business in question is complicated and the conversion was a difficult project given the condition in which the previous bookkeeper had left the accounts.
As a designer, accounting can sometimes be another language. Every time I’ve needed that extra explanation or required my monthly reports to be tailored to my own needs, Digits has taken the time to work with me.
When I have questions or concerns, I email Lorna or my account manager, DeAnna. I usually will have a response back within minutes. If they cannot answer me immediately, they will let me know when I will have an answer, and they will follow through.
All of their work is timely, well thought out and of high quality. I cannot remember the last time I had to provide a correction to their work. I have found that they are very qualified to handle sales taxes, payroll taxes, worker’s compensation and local tax reports relieving me from having to review such work in order that my clients are protected from errors and resulting penalties.
