I’ve been going to Dr. Modad for Five years, she is a professional Dr. Ive read some of the reviews that are less than kind to the Dr. I had an appointment with her today. Dr. Modad is a surgeons-obstetrics-and-gynecology. This is step by step how my apt. Went…When I arrived the front desk was friendly granted no hugs and kisses..when I couldn’t find my Insurance card, it wasn’t a problem for them. The Next stop the girl who took my blood pressure etc. she was very pleasant agin no hugs and kisses she than walked me to the room review my Meds. Wished me a good day on her way out. Onto the cloth gown Not paper Cloth, soft and fresh out of the dryer. I waited no longer than five minutes, Dr Modad walks in and greeted me with a smile, I know she had on a mask, you can tell by peoples eyes. Asked me how I was feeling etc. any problems. Did my examination, fast pleasant No pain experienced, asked if I had any concerns. On a side note..one of the reviews said she forgot the lube…really…she would never forget that. Even in the worst case scenario say she did. Why didn’t you say something? Like that hurts…After we had some pleasant small talk about life, I was on my way. The appointment lasted about 30 minutes give or take from start to finish. She has always taken time to answer any questions in my previous visits. I don’t know what stress you all were under during your apt. I find if you are Nice to people they in the most part will be nice to you. Maybe the front desk was confused about your Insurance. For what ever reason or problem its better to be calm when asking a question. Your dealing with a Young woman be nice, she may not have understood.

In our opinion Dr. Modad and most of her staff are some of the nastiest you will ever meet in the medical business. After our experience, I would not recommend her to a friend to apply a band aid! Some of the buzz words you will read below in the negative reviews are : cold, angry, money-hungry, unprofessional, uncaring, and rude. After our horrible experience, we concur with these entirely. Do yourself a huge favor, look for a different OB/GYN - even if you have to travel out of the area. You will thank us later!

This is the worst doctors office ever! After weeks of trying to schedule a very important surgery. The office manager calls me to tell me the doctor refused to do my surgery because they didn't know I had share of cost medicaid. Which is a lie because when I found out I had it I call the office to see if they took it. Which at this point didn't Matter because my aunt is so graciously going to pay for it. Long story short after going back and forth with the office staff work weeks of them telling me that they where going to put me on the schedule is, when I got the call from the manager saying they didn't know and they refused to do my surgery. The kicker I go online this morning to find doctors in Palm Coast that take share of cost medicaid and guess who popped up yep you guessed it Dr. Patricia Modad. I wouldn't even give them one star but it makes you to summit this review.

I do not recommend Palm Coast Obgyn. They are not compassionate at all and the receptionist/Administrative Assistant is extremely rude! They also advertise for Obstetrics but they do not offer obstetrician services. There are plently of other great Gynecologists/OBGYN's in Palm Coast that are highly recommended!
