Palisade Veterinary Clinic, P.C. was established in 1975 by Dr. Larry Hahn, D.V.M. Dr. Hahn retired with the sale of the practice to Duane H. Moore, D.V.M. in May of 1999. Dr. Moore received his B.S. degree in zoology at Southern Utah University in 1988. He continued to pursue his love of people and pets at Colorado State University where he graduated with his Doctorate in Veterinary Medicine in 1992. Dr. Moore began his veterinary practice at the Oakdale Veterinary Group in Central California. The experience there gave Dr. Moore a firm foundation in the art of veterinary medicine with an emphasis in internal medicine and dermatology. After four years the call of the Rocky Mountains was too strong and Dr. Moore returned to Grand Junction, Colorado. Dr. Moore found that the Grand Valley of the Western Slope was the perfect place to continue to grow. He purchased the Palisade Veterinary Clinic, P.C. with the intention of providing the community of Palisade with the finest quality veterinary medicine and surgery available. The clinic was remodeled to accommodate a new surgery suite, radiology facilities and dentistry equipment.
