The view was the best. We had a great window table and the host was accomodating.



The service was very good--waitress was nice and fairly efficient.



However the prices art e outrageous (I guess you have to pay for the view). For what we paid the food was quite disappointing. My family seemed to like their dinners, but I had the chicken with proscuitto. The chicken was dried out and flat, something I would expect at Denny's. The sauce tasted like maple syrup and for $26 you would think I could have gotten a dinner salad included, which ended up costing over $8.



My wife has gluten allergies and not even the rice dish was gluten free. Very unaccomodating for such a pricey restaurant.



Needless to say, we won't go back. Go to Nick's next door. They've been there for 80 years, so something must be right over there. We have dined there before and it is good. Another alternative is the taqueria right next to the Best Western. Get some food to go and go sit on the beach.



PORTOFINO, YOU CAN'T KEEP DOING BUSINESS LIKE THAT IF YOU WANT TO STAY IN BUSINESS. DURING THESE DIFFICULT TIMES, YOU BETTER COME UP WITH SOME SPECIALS!

Great view. Service wasnt great. Food wasnt anything to brag about. It wasnt horrible but it wasnt great either. The wine was bitter :( Waaaaaay too overpriced! Not worth it. MUCH BETTER PLACES that are not so expensive.

This restaurant only offers a view. The food is "ok," but overpriced; the service is awful, (what service you get) and the manager needs to take some communication courses to learn how to deal with customers. The catering manager isn't any better and actually lied to the Bureau. You have to wonder if the owners are even aware how their restaurant has been operating or if they care. I would definately not recommend this establishment to anyone.
