OwensBoro Riverport Authority specializes in handling aluminum, steel, zinc, grain, fertilizer, steel tanks, equipment and other various bulk commodities. Its Harbor Road Terminal operation has two 110-ton capacity cranes, with one located on a floating spud barge and a full array of loaders, forklifts and specialty equipment for all material handling needs. The company has over 100,000 square feet of on-site general commodity warehouse space located at the harbor road terminal site. It also deals in paper products, such as pulp bales, rolls, stock and scrap paper and metals and its warehouse storage include food products, glass and manufacturing equipment.
