      General Info
      Noel Figueroa,M.D. was born in the beautiful Island of Puerto Rico. He attended the University Of Puerto Rico where he earned a Bachelor's degree in biology. He then attended medical school at "Universidad Central Del Caribe" Medical School in Puerto Rico where he graduated and obtained his medical doctor degree. He completed his residency in Psychiatry at North Shore University Hospital-Cornell Medical Center in Manhasset, Long Island. He also did one year of Internal Medicine at St. Vincent Medical Center-Yale University Hospital in Bridgeport Connecticut. Dr. Figueroa came to Florida in 1993 to work as an active duty Psychiatrist of the United States Navy. In 1996 he completed his Naval Service and went into inactive Reserve as a Lieutenant Commander. Dr Figueroa started his full-time private practice and has been an active staff member at local hospitals where he has served as Chief of inpatient psychiatric units and Director of partial hospitalization programs. Dr. Figueroa is Board Certified by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology in Adult Psychiatry and Forensic Psychiatry. He is also known as an Expert Medical Advisor in the State of Florida. Dr.Figueroa has over 25 years experience in Worker's Compensation cases. Dr.Figueroa and his wife are proud owners of MindHope of Oviedo a place where patients can find peace and hope.
