Best market in the area. They have an amazing selection of food products as well as cookware and dishes. Very well organized with signs that help you find your way around. Customer service is great and I have never encountered a rude employee. This place is perfect in every way.

They have become too rude.A couple yrs ago they didn't seem rude.Especially in the supplents dept.We used to be able to get knowledgeable friendly help, about the various Chinese medicines.Therearetwo women in that area now who just ignore you,nomatter how long you stand there.You can even walk behind the counter to look at things,and the younger one just pushes past you like your in her way,and still never asks if she can help you w anything! And honestly so far she hasn't been able,or seemingly cared to help describe or explain any of their items,even upon direct questioning.The older women just never waits on you either.They both just ignore that your there Nomatter how long you are! There used to be very friendly,knowledgeable helpful people there. Ya these people are just rude. And last few times so were cashiers and sackers.There are other places to get Chinese medicine. MSG neurotoxin,banned in many countries is in most of the food anyway.Cashier and sackers rude last time also.

i got charged 1.39 dollar without anything. after i got home then i check the receipt with all the stuff i bought .then i found out they charge that amount of money for something i did't get it. so i don't know how often this thing happened with other people. careful.

The customer service in this place is horrible. The workers and specially the managers are unfriendly and rude. They have the attitude that they are right and you, as a customer, is wrong, no matter what. This is one place I will never visit again and would not recommends to my friends. Shop at your own risk and be prepared to get the treatment of your life.

This is one of the worst market ever in the area. Training for customer services is much needed for some employees that work there. I visit the store regularly and spend on average over $100 per purchase. However, staff treated me horribly and made me feel like I was not welcomed. For example, they would not be happy to help you with questions, they also communicate in a rude manner and order their customers around. One time I was waiting to check out, and one of the employees ordered me to push my cart all the way to the end of the aisle. There was no "would you mind" nor"please" in her sentence, but instead "Pull your cart all the way to the end now." was her way to express herself.

Highly recommend other oriental market in the area, such as the City Market downtown and the Oriental Market on Metcalf.
