My son sees the pediatrician at this facility, and it had always been a positive experience for us. We have had some insurance trouble, and with the sliding income rates COMC offers we can see the doctor without breaking the bank. In fact, for less than a co-pay. Overall, the office staff have been helpful and the professional staff knowledgeable.

my daughter is currently a patient at Central Ozark Medical Center, 3870 Columbia, Osage Beach MO 65065, phone # 573 302 7490.

In October 2015, she had an appointment with Dr. Thompson for a medication check on her thyroid and psychiatric medications. During this visit Dr. Thompson was rude and very unprofessional with her when she asked questions or addressed concerns about her medications. Whenever she asked him a question, his responses were "I don't know". During this visit instead addressing the reason she was there, which was her medications, all he focused on was telling her she needed to " go on a diet" . He told her to go on " The Mediterranean " diet and to Google it, his only answers to her questions was "read the internet. He checked her neck for swollen glands which he said she didn't have, but yet two other Drs in that clinic have told her she does. He continually kept focusing on her weight not her meds, in a very rude and condescending manner, to the point she left the office extremely upset and crying. When I heard about her experience with Dr. Thompson, I personally contacted the CEO of the clinic, Robert Stiles, and he assured me that Dr. Thompson would be dealt with.

Then again on Friday, November 6 she once again had an appointment with Dr. Thompson, and once again when she asked questions or addressed concerns about her thyroid, medications and blood pressure his response was " I don't know", except during this visit he told her to "stop bugging" him and repeatedly told her to "shut her mouth".

Worse experience of my life. T...

Worse experience of my life. The woman on the phone told me my test would cost $100 and to make an appt. When I go, I sit an hour past my appointment while I watch people come in and get called back before me. Then they had to ask me repeatedly why I was even there. The nurse had no idea what she was talking about, didn't even know medical terms that I was saying. Then they bruised my arm while taking blood. That has NEVER happened before. Then when I get to the pay counter, my bill was 400 dollars!!! When they told me it would be 100! Skip this place unless you're looking to get screwed.
