      General Info
      The Public Works Department, operated by the Orange County Government, is responsible for the maintenance and improvement of the county's infrastructure. The department works for the welfare of the residents of the Orange County in Florida. It maintains roadways, drainage structures and pedestrian walkways. The department employs a staff of more than 600 people. The Public Works Department is also responsible for the maintenance of the county s traffic control devices.
