      General Info
      The Orange County Division of Building Safety, governed by the city government of Orange County in Florida, is responsible for ensuring the public safety through the enforcement of the federal, state and local codes governing construction processes. It reviews plans, issues building permits and performs inspections for electrical, plumbing, fuel gas, heating and air conditioning systems. The division assists with the denial and revocation of permits. The Orange County Division of Building Safety reviews and proposes amendments to develop building codes. It checks the status of commercial plans during review processes. The Orange County Division of Building Safety maintains a database of permits issued under Orange County guidelines.
