I went to Lynn Fashion to have my wedding gown altered based on a recommendation from my dress shop. I am a very particular bride and I had a very specific vision for my gown! In order to turn my store bought gown into my dream dress, I had a list of things that needed to be done including a hemline, custom appliques sewn to the top and bottom, removal of netting, button loops reinforced, a bustle and a custom veil to match (to name a few). I worked directly with Tina and Phuc and they did a fantastic job!! It took several fittings due to the specifics of my alterations, but they made sure to do it well and do it right!! They were extremely patient in listening to my vision and seeing photos of what I wanted. I’m sure my dress was not their easiest project, but they eased my worries and made me feel comfortable during the process. Their work is superb and they do it at a respectable cost. I feel like many other seamstresses/tailors would nickel and dime you for every little thread, but Tina wanted me to be completely happy, so she took care of what needed to get done. My gown turned out perfect and I received countless compliments on my dress. In addition, I had no issues with anything tearing, ripping or coming apart the day of my wedding. It’s hard to impress me, but I was extremely happy I went with Lynn Fashion for my alterations. The shop is a small hidden nook off East Colonial, but don’t let its quaintness fool you. They have some of the best tailors working for them and made my dream dress a reality!! Thank you Tina and Phuc!!

I had my gown made in NYC months in advance and then lost a ton of weight. When I got my gown I fought back the tears as I was swimming in it. But enter in Tina and saved me. She not only took in the dress which was a mermaid gown and needs to be tight and slinky but quickly rearranged the bead work and the straps to work more as an off the shoulder dress. With barely three weeks to my big day, she quickly got to work and was sooo (in my NYC opinon) inexpensive. If you have anything you love.. take it to Tina and she will treat your most precious item with love and in the speed of light. Thanks Tina, you are a lifesaver.
