Good Doctor

Doctors and hospitals are using a Fast-Track system. Sure your don't sit down to see the doctor. However staff members

are taking your vitals and asking questions of you so they can pass on any info to the doctor. The Fast-Track system is

created with one thought in mind and that is to move patients in and out quickly. Particularly if you don't need to see the doctor. You also have got to have an appointment each and every month.

If you are on schedule 1 drugs you can't Fast-Track. Take for example I take dilaudid or morphine. So I have to sit down with him while he asks me questions. Then I usually get a pain shot which is dilaudid and get 10 trigger set up with a point injections.

When my primary doctor told me I needed to see a Pain Management Doctor. Well upon making inquires I was given

prices of $475.00 to $585.00. To me $100.00 sounded much better since I didn't have health insurance. Dr. Sachs could

be charging more and doesn't. I have degenerative disc disease, osteoarthritis in my back and arthritis in my knees, hips

and shoulders. He has patients from Georgia and South Carolina I have met.

Sure none of us doesn't like the long wait. Average emergency room waiting is longer than 5 hours and as much as 12 hours. Oh well. I waited more than 12 hours at Shands in Jax for a MRI.

At least Doctor Sachs isn't a pay per minute like a lot of doctors. If you need 15-20 minutes to ask questions or to explain

your treatment options this is not a problem.

Thank the good Lord for Doctor Sachs and other doctors who do the same. He has been my doctor for about 4 years.

Me being stubborn about making and keeping monthly visits ticks him off. He's fired me because of that. After a heart to

heart talk he decided to keep me on as a patient. At least I'm not some druggie abusing his meds or out selling them.

WHAT EVER

OK I WOULD LIKE TO START BY WHOM EVER WROTE THE LAST TWO REVIEWS MUST OF BEEN A DISCHARGED PATIENT, JUST BECAUSE YOU WERE A BAD PATIENT DONT BE HATEN. BECAUSE YOU LOST YOUR PRIVILAGES TO HAVING A GOOD DOCTOR AND NOW YOUR MAD. I HAVE BEEN SEEING DR SACHS FOR ALMOST 10 YEARS AND HAVE NEVER HAD A PROBLEM, HIS PRICES ARE VERY REASONABLE FOR PATIENTS WITHOUT INSURANCE, LOOK AROUND PEOPLE YOU CAN NOT EVEN GET INTO A REGULAR DOCTOR FOR THAT PRICE NEVER MIND A SPECIALIST. HE IS OUT THERE TO HELP PATIENTS, HE KNOWS HOW IT IS TO HAVE NO INSURANCE AND NO $ YES HE WENT UP IN PRICES $10.00 ALONG WITH ECONOMY, EVERYTHING HAS GONE UP BUT IT IS STILL VERY REASONABLE. AS FAR AS THE WAIT FOR HOURS HE SPENDS HIS TIME WITH EACH PATIENT GETTING TO KNOW THEM AND FINDING OUT WHAT WOULD BE THE BEST TREATMENT PLAN FOR THEM, THAT IS WHY IT IS SO LONG OF A WAIT AND IT IS NOT ALWAYS A LONG WAIT. AND THE STAFF IN THAT OFFICE IS GREAT!!

I have been a patient of Dr Sachs for many yrs.

Who ever stupid fool wrote this is very wrong !!!, I have been going to This Doctor for many many years & he is one of the finest Pain Management Doctors in the country. Do you have a Doctors license??, of course not, you parably got refused medication because he found out that you are parably on illeagle drugs, So you Lied about this trash you put in here. I bet you wouldn't put your name in here.I have met 100's of his customers & NEVER heard a bad word, except some complain about waiting so long, but he has so many dedicated people that highly respect him..

To "ALL" people that live with sever pain Please do yourself a favor & go see him. I honestly felt like ending my life because I was in so much pain. He is like a "GIFT FROM GOD !!" You , who ever you are need to look in the mirror,It's a SIN to tell a lie about a Doctor that is so dedicated to help his patients, why don't you re-write this & tell the truth !

Dr. Russell Sachs

This Orange Park office is in Green Cove Springs, it's with the same doctor as is the other Physican Pain Management office that is listed in the yellow pages. The same rating and suggestions hold true for this office as does the other. This man needs to learn to talk to his patients, schedule them so that he isn't constantly behind and knee deep in patients on a daily basis. He charges a very low price for his office visits, $60.00 therefore he gains anyone who doesn't have insurance and those who are on a limited budget. If you truly need medical care for a disability that requires someone talk to you about it, this isn't the doctor for you. If you require a pill pusher and someone who doesn't ask questions but sticks prescriptions in your hands, this is the man you want to see.

Dr. Russell Sachs

If you are looking for a pill pusher, this man is for you. For $60.00 he will hand you a fistfull of prescriptions and never ask how you are. He will never examine you, he doesn't do anything or than ask if you are having any trouble with your medications. When it comes to complex cases, he's inept in handling them. This man needs to do several things in order to make his practice a good one; 1) needs to lower his patient base (he's always 2 hours or so behind); 2) schedule those for injections on one day and those for prescriptions and regular appointments for another day; 3) talk to your patients, ask if they are having any new symptoms; 4) if you don't know about a disease, then admit to it, don't take a patient on if you can't help them.
