Metro Diner is as good for dinner as it is for breakfast ( and a little less crowded ). The meatloaf taste homemade and the portions are huge. Highly recommend.

I was driving down Kingsley today, with my sister, I looked over to the left and oh what serendipity... it was a Metro Diner! Earlier in the day we were in Jax and were wishing we knew where one of their locations were, we had no idea Clay County was getting one. Of course we went in, it was their opening day and it was PACKED! We checked in and despite how busy it was they sat us at our table in less than ten minutes (we opted to sit on the porch). I had the Philadelphia cheese steak with fries, it was delicious, they use grilled ribeye. My sister had the pastrami on rye with onion rings, I tried a bite of her sandwich, it was the BEST pastrami I've ever tasted, it's smoked on site. The fries and onion rings are fresh, not frozen. We shared a salad, they make their own Caesar dressing with just a touch of horseradish, fantastic. Najee was our server and she was great! Nevermind it was her first day of waiting tables with Metro Diner, she was friendly, knowledgable of the menu and attentive without being annoying. We had a great experience and would HIGHLY recommend it, I'd give it ten stars if I could.
