I agree with both of the reviews below. Ive been wondering what happened to Phil wasnt sure if he was just letting someone else run it, but man has this place gone down hill fast. Each time I drop shirts off now I have to look to see if buttons are still attached or broken. Its happened every single time. So glad Lapels is now open. Getting ready to pickup our first load from them this week. They seem to have it all together there. Hate this place turned ....

No one should ever go to Island Cleaners on Fleming Island. The new owners refuse to do anything for us for a brand new shirt that they cleaned and ruined. They let the blue color bleed into the white and it shrank. It is a $60 shirt that got one wear. Do NOT take your clothes here!

Beware of new ownership! I wish I could give zero stars. I was a loyal and satisfied customer of Island Cleaners for years when Phil owned the business. After he sold to this new owner, I went in with a shirt that I had worn once, brought in to be cleaned and had Fleming Island Cleaners ruin. The shirt was dramatically shrunk and horribly discolored. The new owner refuses to replace my shirt and I will be taking my business elsewhere.

I've been a resident of FIP for the past 8 years I try to support local business. So I tried Island Cleaners here inside FIP for an alteration job for my pants. I have 3 suit pants that I needed alterations but I opted to try one first to see if they will do a good job, but I had to bring it back because they barely altered the pants to what we agreed on. Second alteration on the pants was somewhat acceptable, so I decided to bring the other two suit pants that I needed altered. Thinking that they already know what to do with it this time around. When I got home and tried it on there was barely anything different from the pants from the way I brought it in. So I called the cleaners and asked him why the pants is about still the same, and he answered me this "we already did the best we can, my seamstress has been doing this for the past 30 yrs and that's all she can do". So I asked him that since they did not do what I asked them to alter after having it done on my first pants maybe he can give me a refund, he LOL!!! and said "you are so funny and NO you're not getting a refund". I was so mad I hanged up on him. And this guy had the nerve to call me back and offer to send it back to his seamstress for another shot at it after he insulted me on the phone. This guy will never ever earn my business anymore and I'll make sure that all the people I know in FIP will know how this cleaners treat their customers. I accidentally gave then 1 star, it should have been ZERO!!!! stars. Business reputation is hard to earn than money but it is the latter that is more important to this guy. Thanks
