Prairie Lane Elementary School is an educational institution that has an annual enrollment of more than 260 students in kindergarten through sixth grade. It offers special programs in art, science, music and technology. Established in 1963, the school maintains a library media center that offers a collection of books on various topics, including business, computers, education, entertainment, religion, law, and science and technology. Prairie Lane Elementary School operates an after-school study center that provides study support thrice a week. It also provides guidance and counseling services that assists students with anger management, grief and loss, and academic, personal and family problems. Located in Omaha, Neb., Prairie Lane Elementary School is a part of Westside Community Schools, which teaches over 6,000 students.
