My fiancé went to his dentist for a tooth pain, turns out he has a failed root canal. His dentist referred us to an endodontic...the only endodontic they knew that accepted my fiancé's dental ins...This is where the nightmare begins, we were referred to MIDWEST ENDODONTICS. The staff you deal with to just get an appt. (Michaela, particularly) Geez, unbelievable, do not question any of their procedures or you will get attitude like you have never seen before! After a lengthy conversation about why we had to pay $64 up front for an exam that was just done by his dentist, this office would not call my fiancé's dentist for the x-rays, exam, anything, that was up to me to have emailed to this endodontic office. Today my fiancé gets his reminder call from Jessica ( another rude person) about his appt tomorrow and also telling him to make sure he brings an additional $145 to his appt for the cost not covered by ins!!!! I called and asked to speak to the office manager which just so happened to be "Michaela," I told her that we were told we had to pay $64 upfront and now today we are being told to bring an additional $145???? She continued to say "that's office policy, there will be no treatment unless he pays!!" WOW!!! I asked "Michaela" if I could speak to someone above her....She not only is refusing my fiancé treatment if he doesn't pay everything upfront, but she would not let me speak to anyone else about this matter! Needless to say, my fiancé will be going to another endodontic, we would NEVER EVER recommend this office to anyone.

I was referred to Dr. Karimjee by my family dentist for a root canal. Unfortuately, I had several procedures like this before, but was surprised how professional and courteous the staff were duing my visit. Dr. Karimjee made me feel at ease and explained every step of the procedure fully. His assistant was exceptional as well, catering to every need I had. In this day and time, what dentist would personally call to check up on me the same evening. He even set up a free 6 month exam for me. I will refer this practice to all my friends especially the ones who want a doctor and his staff to give you a personal touch.
