Yes, the food was good. The service was deplorable. This is the first time I have ever not left a tip. If this was the restaurant's standard of service then I apologize to our waiter, Zac. I have been to many restaurants of many different styles and I have never had a waiter take half our order and be "buzzed away" to serve the high profile table directly next to us. It took between 5 and 10 minutes for the waiter to return and finish our order, a process that took all of 30 seconds. Let me be clear and say that I am not displeased because of the interruption; I am displeased because this restaurant made me feel like a second-class citizen.

If you like an Americanized out-of-the-can style of Italian food, then this place is for you. If you want anything that resembles true Italian, go elsewhere.

They are absolutely the best Italian Restaurant in town. HUGE portions of really great food. Their house Chianti is really good too and a must with their meals!

and relaxing, pleasant atmosphere make this a favorite with everyone at my house. Outstanding pasta, in portions that when I was a kid, would feed our big family. Why go to a lousy chain place when you can have authentic and wonderful?

CANNOT BELEIVE IT!! WE HAD THE WORST SERVISE I HAD EVER EXPERIENCED IN MY ENTIRE LIFE!!!! USED TO BE MY ABSOLUTE FAVORITE RESTAURANT..... PRICED JACKED AT LEAST A THIRD OF THE PRICE BEFORE.... AND THE MOST SARCASTIC (IS THAT THE BEST WORD TO DISCRIBE THIS ATTITUDE?) WAITRESS IN ALL OF MY LIFE. I EVEN CALLED THE RESTAURANT WHEN I GOT HOME AND TALKED TO THE OWNER...... ONLY TO GET AN "OKAY-DOKE" ATTITUDE . WOW, I WAS DUMB FOUNDED. TO TOP IT OFF.... I HAVE BEEN IN THE RESTAURANT-BAR BUSINESS FOR OVER 20 YEARS., SO I KINDA' UNDERSTAND MESS-UPS (AS LONG AS THEY ARE ACKNOWLEDGED???) THE OWNER HUNG UP ON ME WHEN I OFFERED MY NAME AND NUMBER TO FOLLOW UP ON THE TERRIBLE TREATMENT. TO TOP IT OFF, WE WERE ENTERTAINING MY MOTHER AND FATHER THAT LIVE ALMOST 10 HOURS AWAY. Authentic Italian dining and quaint, family atmosphere makes Lo Sole Mio well worth the wait. You'll love the fresh tomato basil and roasted garlic they serve with their fresh-baked bread. The entrees, especially pasta dishes, are unbelievable portions--you'll be eating leftovers for days! I lived in Omaha for 6 years but now live in Colorado...Lo Sole Mio is one of the few things I really miss so I try to stop whenever I'm in the area.
