Hefner Comprehensive Treatment Center (CTC), located in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, provides medication-assisted treatment, or MAT, for adults age 18 and older of all genders who are struggling with opioid addiction. MAT is an evidence-based, research-backed method that uses both medication and counseling to help people stop using opioids and make the behavioral and lifestyle changes needed to promote lasting recovery. Opioid addiction treatment at Hefner CTC may include individual counseling and a prescription for a medication such as methadone or buprenorphine. Each person follows a personalized treatment plan and receives a comprehensive aftercare plan before discharge.
