Hospice of Marion County, established in 1983 and located in Ocala, Fla., is a nonprofit organization that offers a wide range of social and welfare services to the communities throughout the United States. It has various assisted living houses, such as Sylvia, Estelle, Legacy and Tuscany houses. It offers other facilities, including assisted living, hospitals and nursing homes. The center offers treatment for Alzheimer's disease, cancer, heart disease, HIV and AIDS, and liver, pulmonary and renal diseases. It specializes in neurology, oncology and geriatrics. The center organizes various programs that include physical, occupational and linguistic therapies. It organizes various donation and fund-raising programs. The center provides 24-hour medical supervision to the patients.
