I have used Hefner Plumbing for many years because they are knowledgeable,
professional and respond to emergencies quickly.
There are always 3 things i can be sure of with the Hefner Plumbing job.
1. I will know the total cost up front
2. There wont be any redos because it is done right the first time
3. There wont be any cleanup by me because the cleanup was done. If the job takes a few days to complete things will be cleaned up each day.

Quality installation of new hot water heater. Very polite and great communication.
Had them here to rework a leaking pipe. During their work, they decided that we needed to have the drain snaked to clean it out. They said that it would cost an additional $250.00. We agree to the additional charge. In order to complete this simple job, it required there plumbers to complete the job. They proceeded to snake the drain. When they had completed the process, one on then said that it needed to be done again because the drain was still a little sluggish. The other two disagreed. They finally decided that it was fine and finalized everything. They said that if it did not work out, to just call them and they would run the snake again. The next day when we were cleaning up after dinner, we decided that is was sluggish as well. I convinced the wife to let it go for a few days to see if it cleared up. By the end of the week, we decided it was still bad and called to have then come by and run the snake again like they said when they left. They arrived early Monday morning and ask what was going on. We described the problem. They ran some water in the kitchen sink and then said that they could run the snake again but it would cost us another service call. I complained about the additional charge and he responded with âI will have the office give you a refundâ. He then abruptly left. I called the office to see what the process was for getting the refund since I needed the money to pay the replacement Plumber to fix the drain. The office manager took 15 minutes trying to figure out some way to not provide the refund like the Plumber has authorized. She finally comes back with the accountant was out of town for the month and she does not have the authority to give me my money. I ask to speak to the supervisor. She said she was the office manager. I ask to speak to the owner. He was also out of town for the month. I ask her to please contact her supervisor and have him call me today. She laughed and said that she would try. I ask her for a follow up phone call and she refused. No call from the owner to attempt to clear things up. Looks like I will have to wait almost a month to get my $250.00 back for the sorry work provided by three plumbers doing a one plumber job. I did finally receive the refund. The new plumber question the specific parts used in the repairs. He felt that they just used what they had in the tuck and not what was required.Would not recommend then to anyone.
They came on time and did good work. But they charged me over $300.00 to put in a $5 part which took about an hour. I could have gotten it done a lot cheaper had I shopped around a little.
First let us say that when our daughter called us and said she found a plumbing company, whom she wanted to do the work at her house , we said be careful, as we had seen only to much of non-professional work done in Ocala.She called us and ask if we could be there to let the workers in for three days. When the technicians arrived at the door, we were very surprised at the appearance and attitude of both. For the entire three days, these men were truly super workers in every possible way.You have to be a very good company to have the quality of men working for you. We are very happy to be proven wrong with our quick judgment after some not so nice experiences. Thank you so much Hefner plumbing!
Tim Hefner & his crew are very professional and always provide quality work. I called them in a panic with a pipe leak & they came right away to assess the problem. I had to have my whole house re-piped which was a extensive job. I was more than satisfied with their honesty and professionalism. If you have the need for a plumber call Hefner Plumbing.
