American Heritage undertook a major renovation of our log cabin. The owners, Franklin and Janet, drew from their vast experience to improve on our vision and make it a reality. Throughout the project they kept as informed and were very responsive. Any roadblocks were resolved with creativity and ingenuity. Their attention to details, hard work, and dedication, resulted in a level of craftsmanship rarely seen these days. If you are looking for a trustworthy, highly skilled home improvement contractor look no further.
After using American Heritage for a small kitchen/bathroom remodel, we used them for a major addition (Adding two bedrooms and a master bath and building a three-car garage.)
This company is a turnkey operation: They combine functional and elegant design with true craftsmanship in their work. They have demonstrated the highest ethical standards (providing value and a good price; reusing where possible, building when they can, buying new where necessary).
Their own staff of carpenters and painters have been with them for years. It is rare to see this kind of loyalty in this trade, and is a testament to how this company is run. Their excellent subs (plumbers and electricians) are long-term partners.

They are proud of their work and the end product reflects the same. They listen to what you want and if you are not sure, they come up with great ideas! Was not able to oversee the different projects we hired them to do. Not a problem. They do as promised and handle your premises with "white gloves."
Workmanship and attention to detail, quality, and creativity in design were what we expected...but we were surprised to get even more. Franklin and Janette found ways to make enhance our dream of a remodeled lake cottage and stay within the budget.
