      Founded in 1979, Standard Iron & Metals Company Inc. deals in the recycling and sale of scrap metal products. Based in Oakland, Calif., the firm sells processed waste metals from aluminum beverage cans, old window frames, household electrical wires and structural steel recovered from demolished buildings as raw materials for new products. Standard Iron & Metals Company Inc. participates in numerous major demolition jobs, as well as smaller plant and industrial scrapping projects. It is a certified California Redemption Center.
