      The Center for Family Counseling, founded in 1976, is a mental care organization that provides various short-term counseling and case management services. The organization offers culturally sensitive and professional counseling services for youths and families. The Center for Family Counseling conducts a variety of internship programs and also provides therapeutic games and materials for anger management and self-esteem building. It offers training programs for doctorate-level students and additionally undertakes clinical research procedures for skill development. The Center for Family Counseling located in Oakland, Calif., features a juvenile probation and camps funding program that includes more than 10 counseling sessions and mental health assessment services.
