I have had my account with this CU for 9 years. Lately the interest rates paid on accounts has been extremely low, and now they are charging fees (similar to big banks) for overdraft transfers ($1.00) and for sending out a paper statement ($2.00). Of course, I don't always have internet access ... typing this from a library. It seems to me that this CU is becoming more like a bank and less by a member owned CU. I'm definitely considering leaving this bank and taking over 250K with me.

This is the best bank to do business with. Great rates, they treat you like a person, and are very understanding. My wife and I, being a young couple (age 20/21) were able to get pre-approved for a 7500 car loan and ended up buying a very nice Isuzu Axiom that our friends always say, "Is this your car?" This bank is a good bank for young people, for older people -- for anyone who needs to buy stuff and save their money!

Staff is very friendly (especially at the Walmart branch)!It is very convenient to have a branch at Walmart since I spend a lot of time there anyway.I have never been dissatisfied with ORNLFCU.They are a great Credit Union and they look out for YOU the customer!
