Renters Beware!!! Especially if you have kids and/or care about your health. Constant reoccurring black mold, persistent ceiling leaks will have you dumping out buckets of water throughout the day. But Don't worry, they will provide you with fresh paint to cover it up, also known as ($10 bottle of mold spray from Menards). When the paint comes off, they will keep spraying over it again and again to cover it all up. Management feels that this is a effecient way to stop a mold problem. After constant mold spray, I paid a mold company to come out and test the air and walls To see how efficient the spray was. The company determined it was SEVERE mold in the air and walls of my unit, despite the mold spray. Property management did not believe me nor the documented results from the lab of a “Professional mold company”. My daughter has became very sick from living inside of unit, she has medical records stating it has been due to the mold. I reached out to the Village of Matteson for assistance and apparently there has been complaints from several other residents against Springview Property. Rent at Your own risk. Although I am moving, I hope this review will encourage SpringView to provide safer units for future and current tenants.
