Highly recommend. He was quick and thorough with his work. Had virus on laptop and he came over to house to pick up. He explained what would be involved and called with updates. It was ready next day and working perfectly. He also cleaned up laptop and added some extra malware/virus software. His pricing was reasonable and worth it. He takes paypal as well.

My hard drive crashed and I lost everything; my pics, music and documents. My tax info. It was a disaster. I called a few data recovery places and they all said they would have to send it somewhere to a clean room and it would take weeks. George really took the time to explain the options, including the possibility of a clean room, so I decided to go with him. He recovered more than 90% of my files, including my family photos and tax documents which were the most important things to me. The best part was, he transferred the files to a new drive and then set up a backup system for me and it only took 5 days! I paid a fraction of what the other companies quoted me and got my stuff back much faster. If you're near Norwood and your hard drive crashes, take it to PC Overhaul and you won't be disappointed. We had a serious flood in our basement last weekend due to all the rain in the area. Both of our computers were in the basement: my work computer that my husband and I use, and the older one we passed along to the kids. It took us two days to get all the water out and by that time neither computer would turn on. After reading his reviews I called George, and boy am I happy. He was able to get both computers working again in only 2 days and gave us a backup of our files just in case something like this happens again. Both my kids got laptops last month so we needed to go wireless in the house. After 3 trips to Best Buy, buying and returning routers that we couldn't figure out, we called George. He came out to the house and had it working in no time. He also installed free antivirus software from microsoft and open office so we didn't have to spend hundreds buying MS office. We had a computer disaster over the weekend. Our home computer was stuck on a black screen and would not start up at all. We tried everything and nothing fixed it. Then we started to panic when we realized all the things we might lose that we have never backed up. My wife works from home and all her work is on that computer, plus all of our tax info and the pictures of both of our kids from birth to now which we couldn't even put a price on. Recently my laptop that I got for Christmas stopped working. PC Overhaul got me an appointment right away and let me know that they would call me with a diagnosis and an estimate so I would know how much it would cost and so I could decide for myself if I wanted it fixed or not. After digging out the paperwork for the laptop I realized there was an extended warranty for it and I called PC Overhaul letting them know that I would NOT need the work done and wanted to pick up the computer ASAP. They got right in the car and returned the laptop for NO CHARGE! This was my best service experience ever. I broke my laptop and I was desperate. I called and left a message and George called me back within 15 minutes.He picked my laptop up from my office late Thursday afternoon, gave it a complete overhaul, and delivered it to me at my home on Friday evening so I could get on line for a seminar on Saturday morning. Wow - 24-hour service! With FREE pickup and delivery, the total cost was under $200! This exactly the opposite of my previous experience with the best buy geek sqaud. Thanks so much!
