On the week of March 23rd I contacted Bob's Collision in regards to having an aftermarket radio installed as well as the steering controls installed. I spoke to a lady by the name of Katie who than spoke to Don the "mechanic". I was informed that the job would take 2-3 hrs with a flat rate of a 150 dollars I agreed to the pricing and set an appointment for March 27th at 10 a.m. On March 27th at 10:00 a.m. I take my 2012 KIA Forte in to have an aftermarket radio installed as well as the aftermarket steering control installed. I have a friend pick me up at 10 and I come back at noon, and when I walked in I was informed it would take at least another 2-3 hours because Don the "mechanic" was having a difficult time. I told them I needed my car and they stated they would give me a ride where I needed to go. I accepted the ride, 2 to another 3 hours would be the latest 3 pm. I contacted Bob's Collision at 3:30 pm and my car is still not done, please give us another hour. At 4:30 my car still wasn't finished. I call Katie the wonderful front desk lady (NOT) and told her I need a ride to get my daughter. She picked me up and we were off to get my daughter. I told her that I'd like my money back if the car is not complete by the time we get back. She assured me the car would be complete but I would have to bring my car back on March 30th at 10:00 am to have the steering controls put in. In the midst of all this I stupidly paid them before the job was complete. The 150 they told me increased to a 175 because he was taking longer than expected, so total 189 and some change which included the steering controls. I call Bob's Collision on March 30 in regards to my appointment and Katie stated that Don doesn't feel comfortable installing the steering controls so I asked for a partial refund, she stated that she'd have to contact the owner BOB! I call Katie back and she states that Bob will not give me a partial refund because DON the "mechanic" spent a lot of time on my car.
***It's not my fault that Don the "mechanic" didn't know how to install an aftermarket radio

***Its not my fault "that there were other vehicles they had to attend to, replacing belts and such" (Katie's words)
I PAID A 189 AND SOME CHANGE FOR A RADIO AND STEERING CONTROL INSTALLATION AND THE JOB WASN'T COMPLETE. I WILL NOW TAKE THE NECESSARY MEASURES TO RECOUP THE MONIES LOST (SMALL CLAIMS COURT , BBB complaint etc...). I WOULD NOT ADVISE ANYONE TO GO TO THIS ESTABLISHMENT, THERE CROOKS. I SWORE OFF THIS PLACE MANY MANY MONTHS AGO BUT I RAN INTO SOMEONE BY THE NAME OF CHUCK WHO STATED THEY FIRED EVERYONE, EVEN THE OLD LADY WITH MISSING TEETH WHO WAS THE MOST CROOKED WAS GONE, WELL ACCORDING TO CHUCK. THIS PLACE IS HAVING A SECOND RE -GRAND OPENING, for what I don't know, because they are still crooked.
