Northampton Area Middle School offers an extensive curriculum for students in grades seven and eight. It is located in Northampton, Pa., and is affiliated with the Northampton Area School District. It has an enrollment of more than 900 students and offers a wide range of academic courses. The subjects offered include English, language arts, physics, chemistry, biology, world history and geography, mathematics, algebra, calculus, trigonometry, geometry, and health and physical education. In addition, it offers fine arts, foreign language, music and computer technology. The school provides a fully equipped library for the students and teachers as well. Northampton Area Middle School has a parent-teacher-student association that organizes the National Education Week and teacher appreciation day and also grants money to the senior high library for resource purchases.
