My 2 greys and 2 cats have been coming here for 3 years. They're the best.

I have been going to Heron Creek since 2008. I love this clinic. all the dogs LOVE going here! They do much appreciated follow ups after any of my fur babies have seen the great Drs. there. We are not just a number here! They all treat my kids (boxers) just as I do...Like they ARE my KIDS. From being greeted by Laura when we walk in, to the boys Brandon and Octavio. DR. SMITH has done some amazing surgeries on Rock the wonder dog and thankfully she is still with me at almost 11 yrs old. I completely trust this staff at Heron Creek . I would and do tell everyone needing vet care this is the place to go! I have taken my foster boxers here also,although the boxer rescue will pay for a different clinic..I prefer HERON CREEK and gladly pay myself for my fosters care. Plenty of animal clinics in the north port area, I wanted the best for my kids...and found it at Heron Creek. Everyone there cares, you don't see that much at many other places...this is a very caring and compassionate clinic.

Over vaccinates puppies. very disappointing to put young pups at risk. need to wait until their immune system matures

Finally found a good vet! I've been in Florida for 3 years and finally found a vet that wants to do more than give shots. Dr. Smith checked over 8 lumps on my dog that had been there for years, and found out one looked like cancer. She removed it before it spread. The reviews say they are pricey but when I think about the 3 years of bad advice, and cancer that could have been missed, I wouldn't go anywhere else. They are also cheaper than back home in New York.
