On-Site's used antifreeze stream comes from many sources. Independent garages collect it in drums provided by our full service set up. Environmental companies deliver it by the tanker load of up to 5500 gallons at a time. It also comes from evacuation of HVAC systems and generators. It is controlled by our inspection and often begins in field collection by filtration aboard our service vans. The used antifreeze is processed through various proprietary stages and ultimately goes through the vacuum distiller. All dissolved solids and chemicals are removed along with water. The sludge is removed by the tons! Some of the solids removed include: Benzene, Arsenic, Barium, Cadmium, Chromium, Lead, Mercury, Selenium, Silver, Chloroform, and Chlorides to name a few. The end result is a new crystal clear glycol stream just as clean as virgin glycol. The glycol is now ready to be blended into premium coolant. Distilled water adjusts the concentration to 50/50. Stringent lab testing is frequently done on the clear glycol stream to insure optimal results are being maintained. On-Site Antifreeze Recycling uses the reclaimed glycol to produce Gly-Coolâ„¢ Coolants. All with Fully Formulated inhibitors and ready for today's complex market. Lab testing reveals our antifreeze exceeds the quality of other well known national brands. Gly-Coolâ„¢ is blended to Conventional Green, HOAT (dyed gold, red, orange or blue), OAT, NMOAT, Non-Nitrite and others. Full service includes a drum to collect used antifreeze with our EPA approved label, a drum to receive Gly-Coolâ„¢ Antifreeze/Coolant ready-to-use with our Label, and a dispensing pump.
