I have to say, I was trying to stay out of pawn shops for my first gun. I read the reviews of this shop and thought i would give it a go. Especially since other shops had horrible reviews about others trying to scam or were very rude, now I'm 21 and as such I am a perfect candidate for a less than cordial experience, however, walking in there they were pleasant, and had a great selection. I asked him about some recommendations, and questions about firearms I was thinking about and for carry and home defense. he answered rather respectively, although maybe a bit slighted to his preferences, but all around nice. Then I inquired about a CCW course, and he called over the CCW instructor who is a retired Navy SEAL of 20 years, and well qualified. I asked him similar questions and replied with his expertise instead of his opinions he matched firearms to my body type, previous firearms experience, and to my other qualifications for a firearm. He picked out some great selections that I loved,

This has to be by far, the best Pawn shop in the state, let alone Lee county, Rusty (the owner) is friendly, polite, and honest. I have always hated the thought of even having to walk into a pawn shop, never mind doing business with them, but This place is so different, very good merchendishe, good pawn /Loan dealings, all around the best in Southsest FL, Thank Again Rusty.

I dont frequent many pawn shops, however I have been in a few in my time. In past experiences with other shops I wasnt impressed, the people working in most of these places seemed rude and tried to take advantage of anyone that gave them the opportunity. After a few rough experiences I didnt plan on ever walking through the door of any of those places again. However hard times fell upon us and I was puhed to needing a loan/PAWN. I found the number for this place Gun and Pawn in north Ft. Myers. I called and WOW, the owner answered... and he was polite and seemed like an honest guy. I took him in my goods to be pawned and I have to say, I was VERY impressed. His shop was EASY to find, he had not just LOTTS of stuff for sale, but NICE stuff.. My favorite is all the Guns.. Of course, however I wouldnt complain if he added some fishing stuff to his already Wide variety of goodies that he offers.
