Let me preface this review by mentioning I am 49 years old and I RARELY ever send food back at a restaurant unless I just really can't eat it. So...My wife and I went there for lunch on Jan. 13th, 2015. I ordered the Beef brisket po- boy sandwich and my first bite was all fat & gristle as were my next few bites. I let the waitress know and ordered something different, a few minutes later the waitress came back out with the owner who proceeded to say "I just had one of those it was fine you'll have to pay for it". My wife and I just sat there in amazement, we have never heard such a rude comment from a restaurant worker let alone owner! Needless to say we will never be back!!!

Food is real good but tables are sticky and chairs are old and uncomfortable and there is no air conditioning which is also uncomfortable. Would go there more if those things were taken care of...

My Husband & I have been eating here for a long time and have always enjoyed our meals but yesterday was the last time we will be going there. The place has bercome very seedy. The chairs look like they were rescued from a ship wreck and when you sit down you have that sinking feeling like you are going to land on the floor. The tables always feel sticky . I know a lot of this has to do with being open air but, it just feels scuzzy. I ordered the alpine burger as it is the only thing on the menu I like, being a finickey eater not into Mexican like my husband and I forgot to tell the waiter I didn't want lettuce or tomato. My mistake so I started to remove them from the sandwich and that is when my meal was spoiled. The lettuce looked like sometheing I would have dumped down the garbage disposal and that turned me off. Also what was supposed to be medium rare was as close to being raw as I want to get. Our waiter was great. Wish I knew his name. He belongs in a better place.
