A. Stanley Pittman founded Giltron in 1953 to offer equipment and turnkey solutions for industrial heating and joining requirements, and for cleaning with ultrasonic equipment. Pittman has worked with engineers to solve problems for most Fortune 500 companies in New England, including Raytheon, General Electric, Polaroid, Varian and Texas Instruments. The company designs and manufactures induction load coils, tooling, tipping dies, handling systems, automation and control systems. Giltron is located in Medfield, Mass.
