Relax...and go see Dr. John Marshall. 8 yrs ago I went to him for oral surgery. Went first for a consultation with Dr. Marshall and our meeting gave me quite a bit of confidence in his work. He's very knowledgable and confident in what he does, and the results show this to be true. I told him I didn't want the anesthesia, I'm 117 pounds with LOW blood pressure and don't ever want to go "under"... and he assured me that I wasn't crazy. He explained he'd give enough local (pain meds) to take care of the pain. I knew I'd be fine if I stayed awake as long as I had headphones or just kind of ignored him while he did the surgery. I had 3 wisdom teeth, 2 impacted and one in the jaw bone (not the best senario, not the worst probably either). While I waited for the noises of surgery etc to heighten & the pain 2 begin, nothing really happened to bother me, and it seemed like within only minutes he was DONE! I healed fast, too! My 40 yr old b.f. just left his office 2day with same results!
