As we walked in early on a Saturday we were immediately seated-we chose the sushi bar. There were two experienced Chefs who were very friendly, and fish-knowledgeable. The extensive menu contained not only sushi but Chinese and Japanese cuisine with a full bar. Ming-the Sr Chef explained which fishes were strong tasting, along with some special rolls. The avacado salad was delicious, a creamy flavorored mayo, with crab, avacado and cucumber. The seaweed salad had a very tastey toasted sesame dressing.
The Dartmouth roll was delious-the differnece in the textures add to the fressness-the tempura shrimp in the center, with the vegatables and 4 different roe on top were great! The sashimi was so fresh-the octopus was served with sliced lemon and they even had fresh quail egg with sea urchin-couldn't ask for anything better! We watched the Chefs make many caterpillar rolls along with American dream rolls. They serve a small bottle of premium cold sake with a gold label that has an aftertaste of honeydew melons-well worth the $$$. The dessert menu had a variety ice creams& tempura bananna but fresh sweet oranges came with the fortune cookies. A nice touch to end a FABULOUS meal! I'd go back weekly if I could.
