Cool Shop

Stopped in to just look around was curious about the four motor helicopters. I have no experience and the staff was super cool and let me try a demo copter after some basic instruction. I was hooked and bought a small one to fly in my living room. Neat place with very friendly people.

To the Boss

I was told by a very reliable source that the boss (Jim), told one of his employees that he was only allowed to have 2 cigarette breaks during his work shift. Since he is allowed to step outside for just a few minutes, I will assume the boss meant 2 cigarettes per day. For a moment I considered that Jim was concerned about his employee's health. But, if that were the case he would have admonished his employee to stop smoking. A boss should be respected only if he gives his employees the same respect that they deserve. My only concern is that the employee be given "toilet recess.". Most importantly, what about the old adage, "Have respect for your elders?"

Very Expensive

Very expensive on heli-parts. Helicopters themselves are about 15-25% higher than other hobby shops in the area or on line. Also, who is the dufuss that is there all the time (thinks he knows all there is to know about the heli hobby and hogs the simulater? He does not work there just a customer that is a bother! My kids are actually afraid of him.

Awesome place

FIVE STARS all the way. this shop is Fantastic. I have been a customer for 5yrs. Jim has helped me learn from a proper heli and radio setup to helping me learn to fly. This shop is the best for anyone learning to get into the rc hobby. he has never turned anyone away and explains in detail ( time allowing) if the shop is too busy he asks that you come back at a later time when there is not so much chaos. The shop has an experienced staff to help you at no cost if you are willing to do the work on your own stuff. they point you in the right direction. not like other shops that dont provide this free service. this is the only place i buy from.

BEST SHOP IN TOWN

I have been dealing with these guys for over 2 years and I still say they run the best shop in town.... The staff is helpful, knowledgeable and most of all friendly ...... I am in there literally every day and not one time have I felt unwelcomed. The staff has always been willing to assist me with my helicopters and other issues I have run across since being in the hobby. They always seem to have what I need and in the rare occasions they didn't they were able to get it for me in short order..... I live in the far south suburbs and I don't shop any where else........STRICTLY IS THE PLACE TO GO

Should be out of business soon!

Purchased thousands of dollars worth of R/C planes and hellicopters from Strictly R/C since they opened. In the begining the staff and service was good, I have recommended many customers.Today I would'nt spend a single cent, even if waiting two weeks to get in from China or online. Staff and service have crashed and burned. Barely have any stock and if you ask Mark for anything he rolls his eyes, looks confused or makes you feel like you're business is NOT appreciated. For goodness sake he works at a hobby shop, not a fast paced restaurant or intense labor job. The guy was born lazy with no interest in anything, including the hobby. Occasionally hustle's in dramatic style just to fool the boss. But owner should know better. Too many items are overpriced and nowhere near current retail price, which is indicator of dishonesty. There is one employee (Brian) that knows his stuff otherwise this place wil be out of businesss soon.

Not honest people

I went to the store looking for parts I started asking since I don't know nothing of this hobby I am new they offered to me a aluminum helicopter for 75 dollars I ask them if I will be able to transfer all my parts from the plastic one I have they say yes well I pay for it take it home to later find by and expert that it was no way to use the parts of mine to the new one simply because is to complete different models sizes and parts i lost $ 75 just because they want to get read of the one they sell to me taking advantage of lack of knowledge in this Hobey!! shame on them

Best place in town for RC stuff

The only place where the staff takes time to listen and trouble shoot, give advice and don't sell you what you dont need. repairs are quick and test are done in front of you. Fun place to visit. make you feel like friend out at the field or in the shop. weekends (sunday) you can race rc cars on their track in the summer or inside in the winter.

Excellent service

The only shop that the owner and staff will personally meet you at the field and buddy box you on planes and helis for free (as long as it is scheduled). The service is excellent. staff is well versed in all RC aspects. Will correct issues when there is a misunderstanding. Will continue to buy because the other shops will thumb their nose at you.

Very Helpful Staff

I bought a ready to fly helicopter for my son for his birthday from Strictly RC. After one hour it was broke so my son called and asked if they could fix it and they said they could. The staff, I think it was the owner and an older gentleman spent over an hour with my son showing him how to repair his helicopter and giving him flight lessons. Great people we will be back. ThanksAmanda K

R/C ex-customer

Prepare yourself for a cold and cranky old fart that should of retired a long time ago. as soon as I attempted to ask if he had a certain part, he looked away, shook his head and said 'no' w/o even looking! No help at all.
