Typically social services is often pictured as slow ,uncaring.NOT TRUE at least of the wards corner location of human services. There is very little of the slow D.M.V. attitude.rather staff is alert an not only willing to help but there outgoing actually listening, paying attention.Even the reception staff are very helpful;on one occasion thinking i'd wait hours the receptionist showed me where the forms are.Explaining that i could wait[hours] if i wanted to and after the wait i'd leave with only the form anyhow.then she gave me a postage free envelope to return it ,saying i'd be contacted.SO what was accomplished in less than a 10 minute wait?I was saved hours of wait that day AND hours to return it. i was assigned to Mrs.Parhnam truely a "Social Services Saint"not only did she help with my request but found two areas of help i knew no-thing about "Big Helps".She did'nt have to take the time but she did.Why she knows here job,and and cares.ALLEN HULICK 0757
