Neuromuscular Specialists, Inc. is an all encompassing progressive neurosurgical practice located in Norfolk, Virginia which has specialized in neurosurgical procedures utilizing state of the art technology and resources since 1980. We are proud to serve and provide neurosurgery (brain surgery, spine surgery, and nerve surgery) coverage for the Hampton Roads, Virginia area (including Norfolk, Virginia Beach, Chesapeake,Newport News,Portsmouth, Suffolk and surrounding areas).Neurosurgical Specialists, Inc. is an adult neurosurgical practice which treats the full spectrum of conditions and diseases of the spine, brain, and nerves. Our practice consists of six neurosurgeons. Each of our physicians has sub specialty areas of interest. All participate in clinical studies, technological advancement, and continuing educational programs.A short list of what we treat includes cervical disc herniation, lumbar disc herniation, complex spine disorders, spinal deformity, brain tumors, spine tumors, and spinal stenosis. Some of the procedures that we perform include brain surgery, brain tumor resection, minimally invasive spine surgery, disc replacement, spinal fusion, minimally invasive discectomy, spinal reconstruction, and endoscopic pituitary/brain surgery.
