Anyone considering fostering or transferring to a foster care agency, my advice to you is to delete CCS(Creative Community Services)from your options at once. I've been fostering for almost 14 years with three different agencies(one year with CCS) and this is the most unprofessional corrupt shady foster care agency I've ever been with or heard of.
If you are the type of foster parent that wants input or decision making for your child, steer clear of CCS because that's now how CCS works. Foster parents are not even involved in decision making for the child which is what I've become accustomed to with my other real agencies. What CCS says goes rather you agree with CCS or not. I felt like I was in a cult with these crazy people.
If you don't comply with their orders, they literally snatch the child from your home for false BS reasons which is what was done to me. After I brought my medically fragile child I had for 4 years in my home to this tacky shady agency,(my previous agency was closed down by the state) because I didn't jump when they said jump they removed my child from my home for no valid reason. My CCS caseworker actually called my child's Dfacs caseworker and told flat out lies about my care of my child just to find a reason to remove child even though the monthly paperwork CCS turns in to Dfacs said otherwise. CCS also told foolish lies to my now current agency just to try to stop me from fostering again. These people are evil & sadistic.
From my CCS caseworker to her supervisor to the director to the owner of this horrible agency, Sally Buchanan, ALL evil corrupt liars. Worst experience of my 14 year foster care tenure. I almost stopped fostering, this was a Nightmare.
If that's not bad enough (3) months later, I get a phone call from a fellow foster parent friend of mine who tells me CCS did the exact same thing to her. CCS took her medically fragile child from her home. She was shocked( even though I warned her). To add salt to the wound, when she tried to move on and foster with other agencies, she couldn't because of CCS bad mouthing her as a foster parent when agency asked CCS for a referral. On top of that for "privacy" reasons they wouldn't even tell her what CCS said about her. She's still trying. I could go on and one about this horrible evil agency about other things ( broken state policies, more lies) but this review will turn into a book.
From my 14 year experience in fostering, the most important thing when dealing with these children in foster care is to maintain stability for these children. Disrupting placements are a last resort if needed. With CCS, they removed 2 children from their foster homes in (3) months(I'm sure they're probably many more since they've been in business), disrupting placements for no valid reasons. CCS doesn't care about these children or they wouldn't do what they're doing. FYI, neither me or my foster parent friend got a visit from CPS( Child Protective Services) after our children were removed which is customary when the child's care is in question. That's because the child's care was never in question. CCS cares about no one but themselves and power to do it their way no matter what.
You have my experience and I suggest, unlike me, anyone considering CCS as a foster care agency to steer clear away from this shady corrupt company. It's not worth the headache and all the BS I went through.
My only wish is that I had the option to give this horrible agency ZERO stars because they don't deserve the one I was forced to give them.
