We provide veterinary care for dogs, cats, small mammals and pet birds. Our pet bird practice is nationally recognized. In addition, we work closely with animal rescue organizations and wildlife rehabilitators. The professional and courteous staff at Niles Animal Hospital and Bird Medical Center seeks to provide the best possible preventive health care, senior care, diagnostic services, medical treatment, surgical and dental care for our highly-valued patients. Our goal is to provide superior service so that each visit is beneficial and enjoyable for our clients and their pets. We pride ourselves on our client education so we endeavor to make each visit educational as well. We've had our Macaw 25 years and got her as a baby. Dr. Sakas saved her life with an intricate surgery a few years ago. He has been her only doctor and he and his wonderful, caring staff have kept her healthy so we can enjoy the fruits of their labor. We drive from Schererville, Indiana, to Niles Animal Hospital and have always been given consideration in appointments because of that distance. If I could give a 100* review I would and they would deserve it. No one better anywhere. Fortunately, we found the best in Dr. Sakas and have always been grateful to him for his expertise and genuine kindness.
